David Krügel

David Krügel was born in 1959 in Durban.

As a young South African acrobatic champion David was then inspired to become a dancer. He has worked around the world with various well-known companies as a dancer and choreographer.

Dutch tour 2012
Director of Artistic programming Hong Kong Ballet.
Executive member Hong Kong Dance Alliance.
2011:
Dancer in Jiri Kylian's "Between Entry and Exit" by Boris Pavel Conan. International tour with Holland Dance Production in “Last Touch First”.
Own choreography CAPA Dance Company in Cape Town.

International tour with Holland Dance Production in “Last Touch First”.

International tour with Holland Dance Production in “Last Touch First”.
Kylian Productions’ “BirthDay” and “Car-Men”.
Assistant to Robert Wilson for the production “Lady from the Sea” in Madrid. 2007-2006:

Performer for Kylian Productions’ “BirthDay” and “Car-Men”.
On tour with “Couple of Moments” in Canada (tribute to Kylian).

Escamillio in Jiri Kylian's film “Car-Men” (Car-Men won the FIFA award in Canada for best dance film).

Assisted Robert Wilson with “2 lips dancers and space” for NDT3 and “Les fables de la Fontaine” for Comedie Francaise in Paris.
